Welcome Pedro Alagoa, our newest Software Engineer

We are delighted to introduce Pedro Alagoa, our latest addition to the amazee.io team. Pedro's journey into the world of software engineering began unconventionally, starting with guitar lessons that inadvertently equipped him with valuable skills in mentoring and planning. His initial role at an animal healthcare startup involved not only backend development but also active engagement with customers, shaping the product to meet their evolving needs.

From there, Pedro's career took diverse turns – from contributing to underwater drone projects as an academic researcher to crafting backends and apps for mobile games in the unique landscape of Tokyo. In the last three years, he has been immersed in the health sector, focusing on systems architecture, cloud integrations, and scaling internal services.

Feeling the need for a new challenge, Pedro found his way to amazee.io. What drew him to this position was the alignment of values – a shared emphasis on internal processes, tools, and automation to enhance the overall work experience for everyone.

Pedro takes pride in the balance of technical expertise and people-centric skills that he brings to the table. His commitment to optimizing processes and building automations has always been driven by empathy, a skill he considers crucial in understanding and addressing the challenges faced by his colleagues.
