Catch Thom Toogood at the Devops Summit on Thursday, a day-long event dedicated to processes, tools, and everything you need to turn ideas into functional web applications. Topics this year include automated testing, continuous integration, local development, ChatOps and more.

On Friday morning, Thom will give a session about GovCMS moving to Lagoon. GovCMS is program managed by the Australian Government and provides content management and website hosting for all government agencies. Thom will discuss the background of GovCMS, the benefits of the new system, existing and upcoming features of Lagoon, and the implications for the open source community at large.

Finally, don’t miss Michael Schmid’s session: Best Practices: How We Run Decoupled Websites with 110 Million Hits Per Month. This session gives an inside view of how we set up a complex project, including infrastructure, platform, code, and people. It will also demonstrate specific learnings from hosting Decoupled sites within Docker & Kubernetes, and explain how we use a CDN and reverse proxy caching architecture.
