The amazee.io family just grew by two; welcome, Juan and Elliot!

In the week since the amazee.io team returned from DrupalCon Baltimore, a lot has changed. Namely, we added two new people, and in doing so, doubled our technical coverage in US and Europe.

Meet Juan Cortés

Juan Antonio Cortés joined our team in April as our third Systems Engineer. Juan spent his first two weeks with us onboarding with Bastian in Switzerland learning all about the amazee.io platform. Juan will work remotely from his home in Málaga, Spain.

Juan’s onboarding included a few Go Live site launches his first week including Gault & Millau on May 5 and Beobachter on May 8.

Juan and Bastian spent Juan’s second week at DevOps Days in Zurich, a camp in Switzerland which our very own Basti helped organize.

Meet Elliot Schlegelmilch

One year to the day we launched amazee.io in the US, Elliot Schlegelmilch (pronouncedˈɛliət ˈʃlɛgɪlmɪlk or schləg-ull-milch) joined as our fourth Systems Engineer. Perhaps because we had just crossed the first year mark, Elliot’s first week was uneventful, and so a routine onboarding took place with the support of Tyler, who also hails from the Portland area. Proper Portland coffee was consumed during this period.

Elliot is no stranger to the Drupal community. Prior to joining amazee.io, Elliot managed Portland State University’s enterprise Drupal web cluster.

We are so pleased to add these two to the amazee.io team!
