Ab-bark Road – amazee.io Team Playlist 2026

amazee.io Team Playlist 2026

At amazee.io, connection goes beyond pixels on a screen or bytes on a server. As a fully remote, globally distributed team, we collaborate across time zones, Slack channels, and the occasional stream of charming pet photos. But there’s another way we stay connected, and that's through music.

Music is one of the many threads that bring us together.

Each year, our team curates a shared soundtrack that travels with us through focused work sessions, creative sprints, and everyday moments. The 2026 result is the Ab-bark Road: a carefully crafted mix of new discoveries and familiar favourites that reflects the diversity, energy, and spirit of the people behind amazee.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration, a productivity boost, or simply great music to work to, the amazee.io Team Playlist 2026 is ready to play its part.

  • #43. Kill Me by Hayley Williams
  • Why is this your song of 2025? Her new solo album was my top album of the year. It's a fantastic album full of bops dropping devastating lyrics left and right. This song, in particular, really hits home, with themes of generational trauma and trying to break the cycle. I think everyone should listen to the album; from rock to pop and even a little R&B, songs with themes of heartbreak, self-love/criticism, and confronting systemic racism, there's a lot to explore. Also, I have a lot of appreciation for the way she dropped her new album: she focused on getting the music directly to fans first via a drop on her website, then released all the tracks as singles with no set order. After receiving fan feedback, she set a tracklist and released the album on CD and vinyl, primarily through small, independent record shops. Her radio releases were done on local Nashville public radio stations. Everywhere she could, she kept it small, local, independent, with a focus on tangible media. It was nostalgic, values-driven, and deeply cool. Now that she's free of her record label, she is fully flexing her artistic independence, and it's inspiring.
